Oatmeal Cookie Mix

For 1 gallon
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
3 cups sifted flour
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups shortening
6 cups rolled oats
Put the sugars, flour, salt, soda and baking powder through a coarse sieve.
Cut in the shortening. Add the rolled oats and mix well. Store in a cool
place.
