    Cheaters Cheesecake Bars

This one is so simple, so easy, so good you will think that you really worked trying to make it :o)

    1-8 oz. pkg craem cheese-softened
    1 lg. egg-lightly beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 t. vanilla
    2 T. flour
    1 pkg. crescent rolls.

You will need one 8x8 inch pan lightly greased.

Place half of the crescent rolls (that will be four of them) into the bottom of the pan. Press them together so that the seams are sealed well. Press down and make certain the bottom is covered well.

Mix the five ingredients listed in the order above until smooth and very creamy. Pour the filling over the crescent rolls, spread it out as smoothly as you can. Now take the other half of the cresentrolls and lay it over the top of the filling. Do not worry if these rolls have spaces it will cook and turn out very nicely when you cut them. Bake at 350 degrees about 1 hour. When knife inserted into the center comes out clean it is done. Remove from oven, let cool until it is almost totally cooled. Then cut into 2x2 inch bars. This recipe makes sixteen Cheesecake bars. Place on an attractive dish, sprinkle with powdered sugar and people will think you worked so hard making these just for them.

    Variations:
    1. Add once ounce melted semi sweet baking chocolate and I rounded T. Instand powdered coffee for mocha bars.

    2. Add 1-6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips that have been dredged in flour for chocolate chip bars.

    3. Pour fruit topping of your choice over the top and you then have fruited cheesecake bars.
Note: I like to cut mine into 1x2 inch bars I think it looks more delicate that way. and it also gives you 32 instead of 16. Logic here, it goes farther :o)
