Egg Barley
This recipe can go under both Egg and Noodle catagories.
1 egg
1/4 t. salt
flour
Beat egg and salt together, add enough flour to make a mixture that can be kneaded into a stiff ball. Rub well with hollow of your hand until small grains are formed or grate on a coarse grater. Toss out lightly on to a board to dry. Store in a covered jar. When ready to use, drop gradually into boiling soup, allow to boil about 5 to 10 minutes.
