    My Sloppy Joes

My Sloppy Joes are very simple but oh so yummy. I have two son in laws that wait for me to make it and just have to come over and visit if I do. :o)

    My Sloppy Joe's

I start out by browning 3 pounds of cheap ground beef.
(the cheaper the better it has better taste for this)
After browning drain all fat in a colendar so that you dont get a greasy sandwich.
Now add 1-12 ounce can of Coca cola.
    Add 2 cups of ketchup
    1 medium onion diced
1-2 cloves of garlic depending on how much you like and size of the cloves.
add 1 Tablesppon of white vinegar
    1 Tablespoon of Brown sugar
If you want it tangy add some hot sauce. If you want it sweet add nothing at all at this point.

Place beef and all other ingredients into a large kettle and simmer until it comes to a proper consistancy for your sandwiches. I can't give you exact times on this because it is not a precise art. LOL But just cook it down until it is thick and ready for you buns and it is oh so very good.
