    Recipe Introduction

    Level 1 ~ Pro/Fat // I make this exactly as written (gasp!)

    List of Ingredients

    Marinara Sauce

28 ounce can of crushed tomatoes
    1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tseaspoon oregano
    1/2 teaspoon onion powder
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 packet splenda (equals 2 teaspoons sugar)
    1/3 teaspoon salt
    3-4 cloves of fresh garlic
    1/2 small sweet red pepper

    ...................................

    Chicken part:

Chicken breast (I use boneless, skinless)
    olive oil
    salt
    pepper
    garlic
    Mozzarella cheese

    Recipe

Start by putting 2 of the 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a saucepan. Reserve the remaining 1 tablespoon for later. Crush your garlic and finely chop the red pepper and add it to the saucepan. Saute slowly until soft. Once soft add the can of tomatoes, garlic and onion powder, oregano, sweetener, and salt. Let sauce simmer slowly
about 10 minutes. Add your reserved tablespoon of olive oil 3 minutes before done
and mix in. That's it your done.
I hope everyone enjoys this recipe as much as we do. I saute chicken breasts in olive oil with salt, pepper and garlic. Once it's done I cover it with mozzarella cheese and put it under the broiler to melt then I top it with the marinara sauce. That with a big salad is a quick great meal.
