    FRUITY BREAD PUDDING

    List of Ingredients




    Just what Grandma used to make? This is soooooo good!

    2/3 cup of mixed dried fruit
    2/3 cup apple juice
    1 ¼ cups fat free bread, diced. You can use sourdough bread
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 large banana, sliced
    2/3 cups fat free milk or skimmed
    1 tbsp. sugar
    Fat free yogurt to serve with

    Preheat oven to 400 F. Place the dried fruit in a small pan with the apple juice and bring to a boil. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the bread, spice, and banana. Spoon the mixture into a shallow ovenproof dish and pour over the milk. Sprinkle the sugar and bake for 25 – 30 minutes, until firm and golden brown. Serve hot with ff. yogurt.
    ï‚· NOTE * Different kinds of breads will absorb varying amounts of liquid, so you may need to adjust the amount of milk to allow for this.
