GARLICY SCALLOPED POTATOES
List of Ingredients
If you love garlic this is for you and very delicious.
7-8 potatoes cut into slices
1 onion
Salt (to taste) I rarely use salt in my cooking so it’s very optional
Pepper to taste
Flour ( as needed for layers)
2 heads of garlic
½ cup of fat free sour cream
½ vegetable broth
Recipe
Wrap each head of garlic separately in foil with non-stick cooking spray. Bake @ 400 F for approximenatly 30 minutes. Remove and let them cool. Meanwhile peal and slice potatoes. Layer potatoes in large ovenproof dish with sliced onion, salt, pepper, and a bit of flour to thicken sauce. Cover potatoes and starts in oven @ 400 F. Peel garlic cloves and mash it up. Add sour crème and broth to form a creamy sauce. Heat sauce and pour over potatoes. Continue baking potatoes for a total of about 1 hr or until tender.
Garlicky delicious.
