    Alfred's Chocolate Cheesecake

    Recipe By : Alfred K
    Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00
    Categories : Cheesecakes

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
    -------- ------------ --------------------------------
    1/4 cup butter -- melted
1 1/2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
    butter-flavored cooking spray
4 8 oz packages cream cheese
    4 large eggs
    1 3/4 cups sugar
    2/3 cup Hershey's cocoa
    2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 can chocolate sweetened condensed milk -- see directions

    Getting started:
Let the cream cheese blocks soften for 15-30 mins.
Melt butter and mix in Oreo cookie crumbs
Spray bottom of springform pan with butter flavored cooking spray
Coat the bottom with the Oreo/butter crumb combination
Start pre-heating oven to 325 degrees.

    The batter:
Combine the cream cheese and sugar in your mixer bowl and beat until smooth.
    Blend in the cocoa.
Blend in the eggs, one at a time. Add the can of chocolate sweetened condensed milk, or you may use 1 cup heavy cream.
Add the vanilla extract and beat until smooth .
    Pour batter into springform pan.

    Baking:
Bake for about 70 mins at 325 degrees. Turn oven off, open door partially and let cake cook for additional 10 minutes or so.
Remove cake from oven and let it cool for 1-2 hours before placing in fridge.

Variation: You may add one bag of peanut butter chips to make it like a Reese's peanut butter cup. If you do add these chips, you should probably only use 3 blocks of cream cheese and not 4. The chips make up the volume for the 4th block of cream cheese.
