Dip: Striped Pesto Dip

Recipe Introduction


"Served in a clear glass dish, this is a beautiful dip made with a cheese mixture alternating in layers with prepared pesto, and topped with walnuts. It's perfect for the holidays! Serve it with toasted French baguette slices."



List of Ingredients




1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese,
softened
1/3 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
6 tablespoons pesto
1/4 cup chopped toasted walnuts


Recipe



In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese, sour cream and Parmesan cheese.

In a small clear glass serving dish, spread 1/3 the cream cheese mixture. Top with 2 tablespoons pesto. Repeat layering, ending with a topping of pesto.


NOTE: Can substitute Sun-dried tomato pesto or use both if alternate layers. Festive at Christmas time.
