    List of Ingredients




    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 lb. ground pork
    1 can water chesnuts
    1/2 c. green onions, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced (or, 1/2 T garlic powder)
    1 T fresh ginger, minced (or, 1 tsp. ginger powder)
    1 T. sugar
    3 T oyster sauce
    1 pkg. won ton skins
    1 egg

    Recipe



    Mix all ingredients, except won ton skins, together in a bowl. Break egg into a small bowl and beat it. Take 1 won ton skin, lay flat, and place 1 teaspoon of meat mixture in the center.

    Moisten 2 adjacent sides of skin with egg and fold into triangle, matching unmoistened edges with moistened edges to seal in the meat.

    Deep fry, turning to make sure won ton is golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels. Serve warm.

    (Can be kept warm in 250o oven.)
