1/2 c. baking soda
1/2 c. cornstarch
2 tbsp. light oil such as canola or corn oil
1 tsp. vitamin E oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract or vanilla fragrance oil
Miscellaneous items: oven, electric mixer, cookie sheet, two mixing bowls, spatula
Recipe
1 Preheat your oven to 350ºF.
2 Lightly beat the eggs, then mix in the light oil and the vanilla. Set aside.
3 In a separate bowl, stir together the salt, baking soda, and cornstarch.
4 Add the dry mixture to the egg mixture and combine to cookie dough consistency.
5 Roll the dough gently into 1" balls and place them on an ungreased cookie sheet. Note: Do not flatten the balls; they spread nicely as they bake.
6 Bake for approximately 5-7 minutes. Note: They do not need to be browned, just spread and well-set.
7 Allow the cookies to cool completely before you store them.
STORE AND USE THE COOKIES
1 Store the cookies in a sealed container. Note: Wait 24 hours after baking before use.
2 Drop one or two cookies into a warm bath and allow them to dissolve slowly. Note: Smashing or crumbling them prematurely will create floating crumbs.
YIELD: About 30 Cookies
