Recipe Introduction

"The Black Thriller Vanilla tastes like dark chocolate. Sonny Skrakowski of the Magnolia Theater Bar has created many original cocktails in his day, and his answer to the Michael Jackson drink recipe challenge is double the fun. Sonny combined the names of two popular MJ songs to create the Black or White Thriller Vanilla. In addition, the cocktail can be prepared two different ways: the Black Thriller Vanilla is a dark chocolate experience, and the White Thriller Vanilla is a creamy white chocolate affair. Each of these drinks can be enjoyed as martini, on the rocks, or as a shot.I recently sent out a challenge to all bartenders to help celebrate the incredible life of Michael Jackson by coming up with drink recipes inspired by the legendary superstar. Ingredients
2 oz Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
2 oz Stoli Vanil vodka

Directions
To make as a shot: Pour chocolate liqueur into a shot glass. Carefully layer the Vanilla vodka on top.
To make as a martini: use the above procedure, but substitute a chilled martini glass instead of a shot glass. Chill each ingredient over ice before straining into a chilled martini glass, carefully layering the vanilla vodka on top of the chocolate liqueur.

Ingredients
2 oz Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur
2 oz Stoli Vanil vodka

Directions
To make as a shot: Pour white chocolate liqueur into a shot glass. Carefully layer the Vanilla vodka on top.
To make as a martini: use the above procedure, but substitute a chilled martini glass instead of a shot glass. Chill each ingredient over ice before straining into a chilled martini glass; carefully layer the vanilla vodka on top of the white chocolate liqueur.)
