    Sweet: Apple Streusel Nut Loaves

    Adapted from Pillsbury, Holiday Classics II

    List of Ingredients

    30 oz nut bread mix
    2 cup fat free milk
    2 med Granny Smith apples, finely chopped
    4 tsp. cinnamon
    2 eggs

    Topping:
    1/2 c brown sugar, packed
    2 Tblsp. unbleached flour
    1 tsp. water
    1 tsp. cinnamon

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 350. Prepare a 22 miniature loaf pans with cooking spray and flour; set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine bread mixes, foil packets from mixes, milk, chopped apples, four teaspoons cinnamon, and eggs. Mix well. Pour about half cup or three ounces of batter into each prepared pan; set aside. Meanwhile, to prepare topping, combine brown sugar, flour, water, and remaining cinnamon. Mix well. Sprinkle evenly over top loaves. Bake for 30 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.

    YIELD: 22 Mini-Loaves
