Biscuits: Cloud Biscuits

2 c. all purpose flour
1 tbsp. white sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. margarine or butter
1 egg, beaten
2/3 c. milk
Recipe
Mix dry ingredients; cut in margarine or butter. Combine egg and milk; add to flour mixture all at once. Stir well. Turn out on lightly floured surface, knead gently with heel of hand 20 strokes. Roll dough 3/4 inch thick. Cut straight down with 2 inch cutter, don't twist. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Best if chilled several hours in refrigerator before baking in 375 degree F. oven 10 to 15 minutes.
Makes 10 to 12 biscuits.
Very good light and fluffy. Very easy to make. Freeze well, let thaw and heat in microwave. Just like fresh!
