    4 eggs
    2 cups milk
    2 cups flour
    1 teaspoon salt

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Grease 12 custard cups (5 oz.) or 16 medium muffin cups. Beat eggs with milk, then add flour and salt and beat just until smooth.

    Fill custard cups ½ full, muffin cups ¾ full. Bake 25 minutes. Lower oven temperature to 350 degrees and bake 15 minutes longer or until nicely browned. Remove from the cups and serve hot with butter. (If popovers are too wet inside, make a slit with a knife into the top of each popover to let out moisture and place back into over for 5 minutes to dry.)
