    1 egg and 2 egg whites

    1 tablespoon canola oil

    1 1/2 cups nonfat milk

    1 cup whole wheat flour

    1/2 cup all purpose flour

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Generously coat 6 large or 8 small muffin cups with nonstick cooking spray. In a bowl, whisk together, the egg and egg whites, oil and milk until well blended. Add the flours and whisk until completely smooth and free of any lumps. Fill each prepared cup 2/3 full. Bake until the popovers are well browned and have puffed, about 30 minutes. Lift carefully out of pan and serve with Honey Butter.*

    *To make Honey Butter mix well equal amounts of softened butter or margarine and honey. I add a sprinkle of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice.
