Scones: Orange-Raisin Scones

List of Ingredients
1 3/4 cups Flour
3 tablespoons Sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons Baking powder
2 teaspoons Orange peel
1/3 cup Butter
1/2 cup Golden raisins
2 Eggs
4 tablespoons Half and Half
***Orange Butter***
1/2 cup Butter -- softened
2 tablespoons Orange marmalade
Recipe
Preheat oven to 400. In medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking pwoder, and orange peel.
Cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in raisins, 1 egg, lightly beaten, and enough half and half to just moisten mixture. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface; knead lightly 10 times. Roll into 9 inch circle.
Cut into 8 - 12 wedges. Place on cookie sheet 1 inch apart. Brush with remaining egg, beaten. Bake 10 - 12 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet.
Make Butter by mixing together butter and marmalade until combined. Serve with warm scones.
