    2 cups sugar

    3 eggs

    2 cups flour

    1 teaspoon baking soda

    1/2 teaspoon baking powder

    3/4 cup margarine

    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

    1/2 teaspoon cloves

    Dash of salt

    1 (8 ounce) jar strained baby food plums

    1 cup chopped pecans

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all but pecans and mix at medium speed for 4 minutes. Add pecans and mix one more minute. Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake 1 hour. While bread is cooling in pan, make glaze, pour glaze over bread and let sit in pan for 15 minutes. Remove from pan and continue cooling on wire rack.

    Glaze
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/4 cup water
    1 teaspoon margarine
    Bring sugar and water to oil. Remove from heat and stir in margarine. Pour over breads.

    YIELD: 2 Loaves
