    Casserole: Charlotte's Breakfast Casserole

    List of Ingredients

    1 lb. turkey sausage
    2 cups milk
    6 slices bread
    1/4 teaspoon mustard
    1/2 lb. sharp cheddar cheese
    teaspoon chives
    6 eggs
    2 teaspoon sage
    1/2 teaspoon salt

    Recipe

    Add 2 teaspoon sage into turkey sausage and brown.
    Beat eggs in a large bowl, add milk, salt, mustard and 2 teaspoon of chives.
    Shred bread and cheese, add to egg mixture.
    Next add turkey sausage.
    Pour ingredients into 2 quart baking dish or individual custard serving bowls.
    Put in the refrigerator overnight.
    The next morning sprinkle additional sage and chives on top.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and serve.

    You can make extra servings of the breakfast casserole and freeze. When company comes just thaw out the night before and have time to enjoy your guests.
