Filling:
6 tablespoons margarine
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 cup chopped nuts

Cake:
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon soda
Pinch of salt
1 cup sour cream

To Make Filling:
Combine filling ingredients, set aside.

To Make Cake:
Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream.

To Bake Cake:
Spread half of cake mixture into well-greased 10-inch tube pan. Sprinkle with half of filling. Spread with remaining batter. Cover with remaining filling. Bake in 350-degree oven for 50 minutes.
