Eggs: Aunt Bette's Egg Surprise

List of Ingredients
1 dozen large eggs
1 pound Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
1 pint sour cream
Surprises (any of the following can be used or mixed):
3/4 cup ham cut into pieces
2 small cans green chili peppers (drained well)
1-1/2 cups raw broccoli, cut in slices
2 cups fresh mushrooms cooked in butter
2 cups fresh onion cooked in butter
Recipe
Beat eggs with a wire whisk until well mixed. Add all of the sour cream and mix well. Add the grated cheese and mix a third time.
Place the "surprise" in the bottom of a 9 x 12-inch baking dish that has been well greased with butter or non-fat spray.
Carefully pour the egg mixture over the "surprise". If an surprise floats to the top, press it down under the surface with a spoon.
Bake at 400 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes until browned. Let stand out for 5 to 10 minutes to set, then cut.
