    Bars: Hummingbird Bars

    List of Ingredients




    3 cups all purpose flour
    2 cups sugar
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 cup oil
    2 tsp vanilla
    2 cups diced bananas (2 medium)
    1 cup chopped nuts
    1 cup maraschino cherries, halved (red/green)
    3 eggs,slightly beaten
    8 oz can crushed pineapple, undrained

    Glaze:
    1/4 cup softened butter
    1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
    1-2 tsp warm milk

    Recipe



    Preheat oven. Grease/flour 15x10 jelly roll pan.Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. Combine all other bar ingredients in large bowl. Stir until blended. Spread evenly in prepared pan. Bake at 350 or until toothpick comes out clean.
    Glaze: Combine all ingredients; adding enough milk until desired consistency. While bars are warm spread glaze over them. Cool. Cut into bars. Store in refrigerator.
