    List of Ingredients




    1 3/4 cups sugar
    1 cup butter
    4 eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    3 cups flour
    1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    21-ounce can blueberry pie filling
    ground nutmeg

    Lemon frosting:
    1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
    1 tablespoon butter, melted
    2 tablespoons lemon juice

    Cream together sugar and butter until pale and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt and add to creamed mixture, stirring to blend well. Spread half the dough into an ungreased 15-by-10-inch baking pan. Carefully spread blueberry pie filling over dough. Sprinkle with a little ground nutmeg. Drop the remaining dough by spoonfuls over pie filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. While warm, but not hot, frost with lemon frosting.
