    Nut Goodies
    12 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
    12 oz. butterscotch chips
    2 cups peanut butter
    2 cups peanuts
    1 cup butter
1/2 cup evaporated milk or light cream
3-oz. pkg. vanilla pudding mix (NOT instant)
    2 lbs. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla

Butter a 15x10" jelly roll pan and set aside. Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips together over low heat, stirring frequently, until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until melted and smooth. Spread half of this mixture in prepared jelly roll pan and refrigerate. Stir peanuts into remaining chocolate mixture in pan and set aside.

In a large heavy saucepan, combine butter and evaporated milk and cook and stir until melted. Stir in pudding mix and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens slightly. Make sure this mixture doesn't come to a boil!! Remove from heat and beat in powdered sugar, using a mixer. Then stir in vanilla to blend. Let cool 15 minutes. Carefully spread pudding mixture over chocolate mixture in jelly roll pan. Chill 30-40 minutes until firm. Then drop reserved chocolate and peanut mixture over pudding layer and carefully spread to cover. Chill bars until form, 1-2 hours, then cut into bars. Store in refrigerator. 48 bars
