    Bars: Peanut Toffee Diamonds

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup butter
    1/2 cup chunk style peanut butter
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 teas vanilla
    1/4 teas salt
    2 cups sifted flour
    1 cup chocolate bits, melted
    1/2 cup chunk style peanut buter
    whole salted peanuts

    Recipe



    Cream butter and 1/2 cup peanut butter.
    Add sugar gradually.
    Beat in egg & vanilla.
    Blend in salt & flour
    Pat into greased 15x10x1" pan. (jelly roll pan)
    Bake at 325° for about 25 minutes.
    Combine chocolate & 1/2 cup peanut butter.
    Spread over hot baked surface.
    Cut into diamonds while warm.
    Pace a peanut in center of each diamond.

    YIELD: Makes about 4 dozen
