    Brownies: Macadamia-Fudge Designer Brownies

    List of Ingredients

    2 1/2 c Sugar
    1 1/2 c Butter
    5 oz Unsweetened chocolate
    6 lg Eggs; lightly beaten
    2 c Flour
    1 c Coarsley chopped macadamia nuts or almonds

    Chopped macadamia nuts for garnish


    FUDGE FROSTING:
    1 c Whipping cream
    12 oz Semisweet chocolate

    Recipe

    Brownies:

    Combine sugar, butter and chocolate in a large
    saucepan; cook over low heat, stirring often,
    until chocolate melts. Remove from heat and cool
    10 minutes.

    Stir in eggs, flour and nuts. Pour into a greased
    13x9x92" pan.

    Bake at 350°. 30-35 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.

    Pour frosting over top; chill 15 minutes, and cut
    into aquares. Garnish if desired.

    Frosting:

    Heat whipping cream in a medium saucepan over
    medium heat; add chocolate, stirring until smooth.
    Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
    Makes 2 1/2 cups.

    YIELD: 48 Brownies
