    Brownies: Maimie's Mint Brownies

    List of Ingredients


    • BROWNIE LAYER:
    • 1 cup flour
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1/2 cup butter, melted
    • 4 eggs
    • 1 can Hershey's Syrup
    • MINT LAYER:
    • 2 cups confectioner's sugar
    • 1/2 cup butter, melted
    • 1 Tblsp. water
    • 1/2 tsp. peppermint flavoring
    • 3 drops of green food coloring
    • TOP LAYER:
    • 6 Tblsp. butter
    • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


    Instructions


    1. Grease bottom of 9"x11" pan using PAM.

    2. Mix together the ingredients for the "Brownie Layer" and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. COOL COMPLETELY.

    3. Spread "Mint Layer" over cooled brownie layer. Refridgerate for 1 hour or until cool.

    4. Melt stove top the 6 Tblsp. butter and the semi-sweet choc. chips. Let cool and then spread on top of cooled mint layer and refridgerate.

    5. Cut into squares and then cut squares diagonally.



    Final Comments
