    Bars: Pumpkin White Chip Macadamia Nut Bars*

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cups flour
    • 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    • 1 tsp. ground cloves
    • 1 tsp. baking soda
    • 1 cup butter, softened
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    • 1 cup Solid Pack Pumkin (I freeze the rest for the next batch)
    • 1 egg
    • 2 tsp. vanilla
    • 2 cups (12-ounce package) white chocolate morsels, divided
    • 2/3 cup chopped macadamia nuts


    Instructions


    1. Combine flour, cinnamon, cloves and baking soda in a small bowl.

    2. Beat butter and sugars in a large mixer bowl until creamy.

    3. Beat in pumpkin, egg and vanilla until well blended.

    4. Gradually beat in flour mixture.

    5. Stir in 1 1/2 cups of the white chocolate morsels and the nuts.

    6. Spread into a greased 15 1/2"x10 1/2" jelly-roll pan. (Batter will be thick-spread with spatula)

    7. Baked in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 18-22 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted comes out clean.

    8. Cool pan on a wire rack.

    9. Melt remaining morsels in double boiler (you may have to a little bit of vegetable oil.) Drizzle over bars.

    10. YIELD: About 3 dozen bars
