Chocolate: Chocolate Tunnel of Love Cake

(1) Two Layer Chocolate Cake Mix with Pudding
l/3 Cup Butter (Room Temp.)
2 (8 oz.) Pkgs. Cream Cheese, Softened
1/2 Cup Sugar
2 Eggs
2 Tbsp. Butter
2 oz. Semisweet Chocolate
2 Tbsp. Light Corn Syrup
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 . Prepare cake mix according to package directions except use 1/3 cup butter for the oil. Reserve 1 cup of batter. Pour remaining batter into a 12 cup greased and floured, fluted tube pan. Combine cream cheese and sugar, mixing at medium speed. Blend in eggs; pour over batter in pan. Spoon on the reserved 1 cup of batter over the cream cheese mixture. Bake for 1 hour. Cool for 30 minutes. Topping: Combine 2 tablespoons butter, the chocolate and corn syrup in a small sauce pan. Cook on low heat until mixture is melted. Pour over cooled cake.
YIELD: 12 Servings
Optional: Top off cake with strawberries.
