    Chocolate: Feathery Fudge Cake

    List of Ingredients

    2 c Flour
    1 1/4 t Baking soda
    1/2 t Salt
    2/3 c Butter
    1 3/4 c Sugar
    1 t Vanilla
    2 Eggs
    3 oz Unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
    1 1/4 c Cold water

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 350 F.

    Grease and lightly flour 2 9x1.5" round baking pans.

    Mix together the flour, baking soda and salt. With a high speed mixer, cream the butter. Add the sugar and vanilla and continue to mix until well incorporated. Beat in the eggs, separately, until well mixed. On high speed, mix in the chocolate.

    Keeping beaters at medium-high speed, add a little of the dry ingredients and a little of the water, alternately, repeating until all is well mixed. Pour into the prepared cake pans.



    Bake at 350 F for about 35 mins. or until done.

    Cool on wire racks. Remove from the baking pans and cool.

    YIELD: 12 Servings
