List of Ingredients

One 21 ounce can cherry or apple pie filling
One 18-1/4 ounces box yellow cake mix
1/2-cup butter,melted
1/3-cup chopped walnuts,optional



Recipe

Spread the pie filling in a 9x13" pan, sprinkle on the cake mix, and drizzle with the (melted) butter.


Bake at 350 degrees for about 25-30 minutes, or till filling is bubbly and cake mix lightly browned.

By the way, pumpkin works, but I mix it with about 1/2 cup sugar mixed with a teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice. Another great combo is apple filling with either chocolate or spice cake mix instead of yellow.
