List of Ingredients
1 package (18.25 oz.) butter-recipe fudge cake mix
1 package (3.9 oz.) chocolate instant pudding mix
1 cup sour cream
1 stick butter, melted
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 large eggs
7 tablespoons Kahlua
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup semisweet choc. chips
1T confectioner's sugar, sifted
Recipe
Grease a 12-cup Bundt pan and dust w/flour, shaking out the excess.
In a large bowl, blend the cake mix, pudding mix, sour cream, melted butter, oil, eggs and 4T of the Kahlua on low speed for about a minute. Scrape down sides of bowl w/a rubber spatula and increase speed to medium. Beat 2 minutes on medium, scraping as necessary. Fold in the chocolate chips, making sure they're well distributed.
Pour into prepared pan, and bake in preheated 350-degree oven for 55-60 minutes, until it springs back whenn lightly pressed with finger and cake is just starting to pull away from sides of pan. Cool for 20 minutes, then then run a long sharp knife around the edge, and invert.
Poke holes in the cake with a wooden skewer. Spoon the remaining 3T of kahlua over it, letting it seep down into the holes. Let it cool completely, 20 minutes more. Dust with confectioner's sugar, and hand over to someone you like a lot.
(I like to decorate the top with chocolate covered coffee beans, and fill the center with 'em, too.)
