Chocolate Peanut Sweeties

These are also referred to as "Chubby Hubbies." WHATEVER-they're great!
List of Ingredients
- 1 cup peanut butter*
- 1/2 cup butter, softened (no substitutions)
- 3 cups confectioners' sugar
- 5 dozen miniature pretzel twists (about 3 cups)
- 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
- 1 Tblsp. vegetable oil
Instructions
- * Editor's Note: Reduced fat or generic brand peanut butter in not recommended for this recipe. (I use SKIPPY)
- In a mixing bowl, beat peanut butter and butter until smooth. Beat in confectioners' sugar until combined. Shape into 1" balls; press on on each pretzel twist.
- Place on waxed paper-lined baking shees. Refridgerate until peanut butter mixture is firm (about 1 hour). In a double boiler, melt chocolate chips and with oil.
- Dip the peanut butter ball into the chocolate. Return to baking sheet, pretzel side down.
- Refridgerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Store in the refridgerator.
- YIELD: 5 Dozen
