Add 1 cup of sugar to pan, heat, stir constantly. Add 1 cup of molasses and cook until sugar is dissolved and mixture bubbles. Add 1 tsp. of vanilla, heat and stir for about 5 minutes. Add 2 cups of almond chips added to the hot mixture and stir for another minute. Spread mixture quickly on a well greased baking sheet and roll with greased rolling pin. Let cool, break into pieces.
