1-1/3 cup Eagle Brand condensed milk
1/2 cup molasses
1/8 tsp salt
butter Recipe
Blend together milk, molasses & salt.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly to 235° or until a little dropped into cold water forms a semi-firm ball.
Remove from heat at once.
Pour into a buttered large platter, or square pan.
Let stand until cool enough to handle.
Butter hands and pull taffy until shiny and light in color.
Twist into rope 3/4" thick.
Cut into 1" pieces.
