Bars: Skor Bars

Recipe Introduction
This simple and delicious dessert recipe tastes just like the commercial "Skor Bars". This recipe is great for parties, and dessert buffets.
List of Ingredients
half a brick of butter (2 sticks)
1 cup of brown sugar
salted crackers (Saltines)
a large bag of chocolate chips (12 oz.)
Recipe
Grease a rectangular baking pan.
Completely cover the bottom of the baking pan with crackers (salted sides facing upwards).
In a cooking pan, melt the butter.
Add the cup of brown sugar to the melted butter.
Allow the butter and sugar mixture to a boil slightly for 5-7 minutes.
Pour the butter and sugar mixture in the rectangular baking pan (thoroughly covering the crackers).
Put in oven for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
Remove the pan from the oven and spread the chocolate chips all over the top of the crackers.

The chocolate chips will melt within a few minutes, and should be easily spread with a spatula.
Place in the freezer to allow it to harden.
Once removed from the freezer, break off or cut into bite size pieces.
And you're done!
