    Source of Recipe

    Internet from NPFM03A

    Recipe Introduction

Yet another internet recipe that I tried...it was GREAT! So easy to make. This has become one of our favorites. The chicken is so tender-you have to try this!

    List of Ingredients

    • 4 chicken breasts* skinned
    • 3 Tbslp. cornstarch
    • 1 Tblsp. vegetable oil
    • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
    • 5 Tblsp. soy sauce (low salt)
    • 1 1/2 Tblsp. white wine vinager
    • 1 tsp. sugar
    • 1/4 cup water
    • 6 green onion cut into 1" pieces
    • 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper or to taste

    Instructions

    1. Cut chicken *(these are 1/2 breasts, as you would buy them in the market) into 1 1/2 inch cubes.
    2. Lightly toss with cornstarch in bag to coat.
    3. Heat oil in skillet or wok; stir fry chicken and garlic until lightly browned.
    4. Add soy sauce, vinager, sugar and water.
    5. Cover and cook 3 minutes or until chicken is throughly cooked.
    6. Add green onions and cayenne pepper; cook uncovered about 2 minutes longer.

I serve this over brown rice.
