A 10 Minute Szechaun Chicken

Recipe Introduction
Yet another internet recipe that I tried...it was GREAT! So easy to make. This has become one of our favorites. The chicken is so tender-you have to try this!
List of Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts* skinned
- 3 Tbslp. cornstarch
- 1 Tblsp. vegetable oil
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 5 Tblsp. soy sauce (low salt)
- 1 1/2 Tblsp. white wine vinager
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 6 green onion cut into 1" pieces
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper or to taste
Instructions
- Cut chicken *(these are 1/2 breasts, as you would buy them in the market) into 1 1/2 inch cubes.
- Lightly toss with cornstarch in bag to coat.
- Heat oil in skillet or wok; stir fry chicken and garlic until lightly browned.
- Add soy sauce, vinager, sugar and water.
- Cover and cook 3 minutes or until chicken is throughly cooked.
- Add green onions and cayenne pepper; cook uncovered about 2 minutes longer.
Final Comments
YIELD: 4 Servings - 221 calories per serving (chicken alone)
I serve this over brown rice.
