Italian Beef Casserole

1 cup cracker crumbs
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 can (6 ounce) tomato paste
2 Roberts Eggs
1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups Roberts Cottage Cheese
1 can (4 ounce) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
2 teaspoons oregano
Recipe
Combine 1/2 cup cracker crumbs, ground beef, tomato paste, eggs, chopped onion, chopped green pepper and salt; mix well. Place half the mixture in an 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking pan.
Stir together remaining cracker crumbs, cottage cheese, mushrooms and oregano; spread over meat mixture in pan and top with remaining meat mixture.
Bake at 325 for 1 hour.
Yield: 6 to 8 servings
