List of Ingredients
- 4 medium green peppers
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 can 15 oz. tomato sauce
- 2 slices American cheese, cut into strips
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt, if desired
- dash pepper
Instructions
- Put peppers in half lenghtwise, remove seeds; cooking in boiling water for 5 minutes; drain.
- In a skillet, brown beef, remove beef, set aside.
- In pan drippings, saute onion. Drain any remaining fat. Return beef to skillet. Stir in 1 cup tomato sauce, rice and seasonings.
- Arrange peppers in baking dish; fill with meat mixture. Bake in 375 degree oven for 25 minutes. Yop with remaining sauce and cheese. Bake for 5 minutes longer.
- YIELD: 2-4 Servings
