    List of Ingredients


    • 4 medium green peppers
    • 1 pound ground beef
    • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
    • 1 can 15 oz. tomato sauce
    • 2 slices American cheese, cut into strips
    • 1 cup cooked rice
    • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    • 1/2 tsp. salt, if desired
    • dash pepper


    Instructions


    1. Put peppers in half lenghtwise, remove seeds; cooking in boiling water for 5 minutes; drain.
    2. In a skillet, brown beef, remove beef, set aside.

    3. In pan drippings, saute onion. Drain any remaining fat. Return beef to skillet. Stir in 1 cup tomato sauce, rice and seasonings.
    4. Arrange peppers in baking dish; fill with meat mixture. Bake in 375 degree oven for 25 minutes. Yop with remaining sauce and cheese. Bake for 5 minutes longer.
    5. YIELD: 2-4 Servings
