    ¾ cup graham cracker crumbs
    ½ cup slivered almonds, toasted and finely chopped
    ¼ cup sugar
    ¼ cup butter, melted
    3 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
    1 can sweetened condensed milk
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. almond extract

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 300°. Combine crumbs, almonds, sugar and butter. Press firmly on bottom of 9" spring
    form pan or 9x13" pan. Beat cheese till fluffy: gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk till smooth.
    Add eggs and extract. Mix well. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 55-60 minutes or just till set. Cool.

    Topping:
    1/3 cup packed brown sugar
    1/3 cup whipping cream
    ½ cup chopped toasted slivered almonds

    In a small sauce pan, combine brown sugar and whipping cream. Cook and stir till sugar dissolves. Let
    simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in almonds. Spoon evenly over cake. (If using a 9x13 pan
    double topping ingredients, and let simmer for 10-12 minutes.)

    SERVES 10
