    2 8-ounce packages cream cheese, softened

    1 tablespoon butter or margarine
    1-1/2 cups sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
    1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    Confectioners’ sugar

    Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a 9-inch cake pan with butter.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, butter, and sugar; beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add cinnamon, lemon rind, flour, and salt; blend thoroughly. Pour into prepared cake pan.

    Bake for 12 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F. Continue baking 25 to 30 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar.
