    2 8-ounce packages cream cheese, softened

    2 eggs
    1 teaspoons vanilla extract
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 cups sour cream
    1 9-inch graham cracker crust
    Strawberry Topping (below)

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 325°F.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, eggs, vanilla, sugar, and sour cream; beat until well blended and smooth. Pour into cracker crust.

    Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until set. Cool to room temperature. Chill for at least 2 hours.

    STRAWBERRY TOPPING ---

    1 pint strawberries
    2 cups sugar
    3 tablespoons water

    In a medium bowl, combine strawberries, sugar, and water. Let stand, stirring occasionally, until sugar dissolves. Arrange strawberries, upside down, around the edge of the cheesecake. Keep chilled until ready to serve.

    Serves 10
