Chocolate Chip Meringue Cookies

Recipe Introduction
Here's a wonderful recipe that is easy to make easy (just remember to beat the egg whites correctly). The cookies taste divine!!
List of Ingredients
2 egg whites
1/8 t. salt
1/8 t. cream of tartar
1 t. vanilla
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. chocolate chips plus a few more
Recipe
Preheat oven to 300 F.
Cover cookie sheets with either parchment paper or cut the side of a paper grocery bag to fit the cookie sheet.
Beat the egg whites in a cool bowl with very clean beaters just until foamy.
Add salt and cream of tartar, and beat until soft peaks form.
Add sugar GRADUALLY, beating until peaks are stiff.
Fold in gently, by hand, chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto paper, at least 1 inch apart.
Bake at 300 F. for 25 minutes, or until set and very lightly browned.
Cool.
YIELD: 2 Dozen
