Chocolate Revel Bars

1 cup margarine or butter, softened
2 1/2 cups flour
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
4 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 cups oatmeal
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons margarine or butter
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Recipe
In a large mixer bowl, beat 1 cup margarine until creamy. Add half the flour, brown sugar, eggs, 2 teaspoons vanilla and soda. Beat until thoroughly combined. Beat in remaining flour and oatmeal.
Cook chocolate chips, condensed milk and 2 tablespoons margarine over low heat until chocolate is melted, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in remaining vanilla and nuts.
Pat 2/3 of oat mixture into bottom of ungreased 15x10x1 rimmed cookie sheet. Spread chocolate mixture on top. Dot with remaining oat mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees about 25 minutes or until top is lightly golden. Cool and cut into bars.
