List of Ingredients
12 oz unsweetened chocolate, melted
6 cups hot water
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup half and half
2 tablespoons liqueur (Cherri-Swiss, Amaretto di Saronno, Kirsch, or similar liqueur)
1 cup whipped cream
1 tablespoon grated semi-sweet chocolate
Recipe
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
When chocolate has melted add 1/4 cup hot water stirring with a wire whisk to get an even consistency. Add the remaining hot water and the 1/4 cup sugar. Stir until thoroughly blended.
Pour into a pitcher with the half and half and refrigerate for two hours or until cold. Stir in the liqueur and pour into six tall glasses top each with 2-1/2 tablespoons of whipped cream.
Sprinkle with grated chocolate and serve.
