List of Ingredients

3 c. flour
1/4 t. cloves
1/2 t. nutmeg
1 1/2 t. cinnamon
1 t. baking powder
1/2 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 t. vanilla
1 c. applesauce
1/4 c. chopped nuts





Recipe

In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar, and egg until light and fluffy.

Add vanilla and applesauce. Sift together flour, spices, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; add to sugar and egg mixture until well blended.

Stir in nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet and bake for about 12 mins. at 375.
