Add eggs, and continue to beat until light and fluffy. Add vanilla. Mix flour, baking powder and baking soda together. Gradually add to creamed mixture and stir until combined. Stir in dates and walnuts. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F. for about 15 minutes.
