Chocolate Orange Cookie

List of Ingredients




8 oz. Semi-Sweet baking chocolate
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. butter, softened
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
8 oz. orange flavored dark chocolate (Valrhona Noir Orange) broken in to chunks
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)



Recipe




Pregeat oven to 350 degrees F.
Melt semi-sweet chocolate over double boiler.
Stir chocolate until smooth.
Stir in brown sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla until well mixed.
Stir in flour and baking powder.
Stir in orange flavored chocolate chucks.
Stir in pecans.

Drop by 1/4 cupfuls onto parchment lined cookie sheet.
Bake12-15 min. or until puffed and feel set to touch.
Cool on cookie sheet and then on rack.


YIELD: One Dozen Cookies
