Cinnamon Hazelnut Pralines

2 cups sugar
3/4 cup butter
1 cup hazelnut flavoured cream
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp almond extract
2 cups hazelnuts, chopped
Heat sugar, butter, cream and baking soda in saucepan. Stir frequently until it reaches a soft boil. Remove from heat, add extract and nuts. Drop spoon sized amounts on waxed paper, let set. Store in airtight container.
