    Oatmeal: Gramma Booey's Oatmeal Cookies

    List of Ingredients

    1 cup flour
    ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
    ¾ cups oats
    1/8 cup milk
    ½ cup shortening
    ½ teaspoon soda
    1 egg
    ¾ cup raisins
    ¾ cup light brown sugar, firmly packed




    Recipe



    Mix dry ingredients and set aside. Cream shortening with sugar and stir in beaten egg. Fold in dry ingredients alternately with milk. Add oats, raisins and mix well. Drop onto buttered cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.

    YTELD: 3 Dozen Cookies
